This guy... use him! I called to get a mold remediation on my shower mold that I just can't seem to remove. After a few questions, Woner was very honest and said his services wouldn't help in this case; i.e. I'd be paying another remediation company an arm and a leg to get the shower tiles removed completely. Instead, at no cost to myself, he asked me to send him pictures of the tile, so he can help determine how best to help me. I am so happy with this level of honesty, and work ethic. As a realtor, I'm 100% going to be using him for remediation.

I wish i could give them 0 stars. On October 30, 2020 I called this company to remove the mould in my home, My first initial call they told me it would be 240 plus tax for them to come in and remove the mould. I was charged for 2800 for things they never once mentioned before and things they honestly didn't even do.... For example, they never did the demolition as my brother did it prior to them coming. Also they never told me in the first conversation that there was a \late night fee.\ If i knew that i would have contacted another company or even waited until the morning. These people are crooks. They took advantage of me. After being charged from my credit card they sent a 17 page invoice. I called several times a day and asked to speak to Phillip, for 5 days straight. Every single time i was told that he was busy, or would call back. He never called back ever. Them avoiding my calls shows to me how i've been cheated. After being scammed, I looked on homestar for reviews, MULTIPLE people have been scammed by this company. They do the exact same thing to other vulnerable people. I was fooled by the initial great reviews.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Woner when I called GTA Restoration with a question about painting over a water damaged wall. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about the topic. He recommended his preferred paint variety for the job, as well as the best way to go about it. If I ever have serious water damage or remediation needs, I'm coming to these guys! It's so rare to have such a professional exchange when money isn't involved.
I really would not recommend this place to anyone as their prices are ridiculously expensive. I had a water leak in my house and I called them to fix it. They did fix the water leak and created a massive hole on the wall. At that time, I repeatedly asked them how much it was going to cost well before they were starting to do the work and they said they would let me know later and also added I could claim it back on insurance and therefore should not be worried . 4 days later (after repeatedly calling them asking for an invoice) I get a bill for 2980 and an additional proposed bill of about 4000 to fix the wall. They keep pressuring you to go to insurers with the claim. I had no choice but to pay for the invoice of 2980 as they had my credit card on file. So please don't use them unless you are ready to be ripped off by them. I now got the wall fixed through the jiffy app for 400 (which is 10 times less then the price these guys quoted me).
These guys are big scammers! Called in for plumbing, tore down my house apart, didnt give me a quote and charged my credit card without any final invoicing while the estimation was under negotiation with my insurance company. Their charges are usually more than two fold the another company would charge you and they will never get back to you when you request anything. I know the owner will post that my posting is a scam but PLEASE READ AND DO NOT CALL.
